The new Panamera makes Southeast Asian debut

[Bangkok] The new Porsche Panamera will be unveiled for the first time in Southeast Asia at the 37th Thailand International Motor Expo, by Porsche Thailand represented by AAS Auto Service (AAS), the sole authorized importer and distributor of Porsche cars in Thailand.

The new Panamera is introduced to Thailand at a very attractive price point, starting from 7.3 million baht for the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid model with comprehensive standard equipment, where the electric motor is complemented as before by a 243 kW (330 PS) 2.9-litre biturbo V6, resulting in a system power output of 340 kW (462 PS). The Panamera 4 E-Hybrid takes just 4.4 seconds (-0.2 s) to reach 100 km/h from a standing start on its way to a top speed of up to 280 km/h (+2 km/h).

Priced at 7.75 million baht, the new Panamera 4 E-Hybrid with a Thai market specific Premium Plus Package enhances the compelling standard equipment even further, consisting of Metallic colours, LED main headlights including Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), the panoramic roof system, choices of 21-inch wheels, a 7.2-kW on-board charger, side window trims (high-gloss) in black or silver, storage package and cupholder covers (front).

The new Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is now the most powerful variant in the completely revamped product line up, combining a 420 kW (571 PS), four-litre biturbo V8 with a 100 kW (136 PS) electric motor. Its all-electric range has been increased by up to 30 per cent thanks to a new 17.9 kWh battery and optimised driving modes. It is priced at 17.8 million baht.

“As a purebred sports car that is simultaneously a luxury saloon, the Panamera is unique in its segment and a strategic differentiator contributing to the success of the Porsche brand in Thailand. We are therefore looking forward to continue the Panamera success story, covering an even wider spectrum and enhanced Premium Package to make the sports car dreams of our customers come true“, says Peter Rohwer, Managing Director of Porsche Thailand.
