H.E. Ambassador to Japan Experience Mitsubishi Motors’ New Innovative Showroom
MITSUBISHI MOTORS CORPORATION was led by Mr. Yoichiro Yatabe, Representative Executive Officer, Co-Chief Operation Officer (Co-COO), responsible for ASEAN OCEANIA welcoming H.E. Ambassador Singtong Lapisatepun together with Ms. Prangtip Kanchanahattakij, Minister, and Ms. Kanakporn Chotipal, Minister of Economic and Investment, exploring Mitsubishi Motors’ innovation for sustainability at the new brand center ‘MI-Garden GINZA’(1) located in Ginza, Tokyo, Japan.
H.E. Ambassador and both Ministers have experienced the possibilities of a sustainable energy lifestyle by DENDO DRIVE HOUSE which is Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) energy system with MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER PHEV.
DENDO DRIVE HOUSE (‘DENDO’ means ‘Electric Drive or Electric Powered’ in Japanese) is a package of household systems comprising MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER PHEV, a bi-directional charger, solar panel and household battery. DENDO DRIVE HOUSE makes it possible to use power generated by the house to charge vehicles and conversely for the vehicles to supply power back into households.
On the other hand, Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. steps into electrification era by showcased DENDO DRIVE HOUSE at Education Academy in Pathumthani, showing how the vehicle is a part of a residential power generation infrastructure. It also demonstrates its expertise in key electrification technologies for a future with sustainable energy.
We Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) will continue to explore the new life style and customer experience by introducing this Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV toward Thailand market.
(1) MI-Garden GINZA (pronounced "My Garden") showcases Mitsubishi Motors vehicles and technologies and demonstrates how they can be incorporated into their lives to offer visitors inspiration, new ideas and help expand one's field of possibilities. It was launched on September 12, 2019. The "M" in the center's name stands for Mitsubishi, while the "I" is for intelligent, ingenious, inspiration and interaction. MI-Garden GINZA, which aims to become a new symbol of Ginza, also hosts a variety of events at the inviting green garden area, a rarity in a highly urbanized area, allowing the center to be a fun and supportive facility for the community.
